In the opposite direction the Fisherman’s Haunt (1.7km) is a very popular dining spot with the locals.
Vibrant and bustling in the summer, Messonghi (2.6km) has an excellent range of amenities including a fresh bakery, numerous bars, restaurants, minimarkets and shops plus a lovely stretch of sand and shingle beach where you will find boat hire, boat trips and water sports in the main summer months.
