The village is also starting point for the 51-mile Coleridge Way and has a Norman castle mount from which you can enjoy far-reaching views to the Brecon Beacons, the Mendips, Glastonbury Tor and the North Somerset coast. Or, catch a train to the seaside town of Minehead from Bishops Lydeard (9.5 miles) on the historic West Somerset steam railway.
