Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would happily come back. My wife and I stayed in a double room, while some friends stayed in another double room. We had asked the hotel in advance if it would be possible to have the rooms close together, and they kindly arranged this for us — the rooms ended up being quite close to each other on the same floor, which was very convenient. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything you would typically need. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They also kindly allowed us a one-hour late checkout, which we really appreciated. What impressed us most, though, was that they somehow noticed it was my birthday and surprised me with champagne and a cake in our room. We hadn’t mentioned it or asked for anything, so it was a genuinely lovely and unexpected touch that made our stay feel special. Breakfast was good, although not quite the highlight of the stay. The gym was also perfectly sufficient for a hotel gym, with enough equipment for a basic workout. The location worked well for us. It’s in a quieter area away from the main tourist crowds, which we really liked, although it is slightly outside the immediate city centre. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent service, thoughtful personal touches, and staff who clearly go the extra mile for their guests.
