Summary: Check‑in was a genuinely pleasant experience thanks to Gloria. She was kind, friendly, professional, and helpful. However, being handed off to Alexis for the timeshare sales pitch immediately afterward felt uncomfortable and pressured. After a long travel day with little sleep, needing to eat, get my bearings, and meet up with my family, I did not appreciate having to decline a presentation when all I wanted was to settle in. I understand she was doing her job, but it soured the beginning of my stay to have to repeatedly and politely explain that I was too travel‑weary—and needed to coordinate plans with my travel companions—to commit to what she was asking. This same situation occurred when my mother and I checked into a Wyndham property in Kapa‘a in 2023, so it seems worth mentioning as part of my overall experience. The room itself was clean and adequate. I spent most of my time out exploring, so I didn’t use many amenities, but the pool was nice. The jacuzzi, however, was not hot and appears to need maintenance. I enjoyed the hammock, and it was fun hearing other guests sing karaoke in the evenings. Reserved parking closer to each guest’s room would be a meaningful improvement. Overall, it’s a quiet, clean, centrally located property with lovely grounds and friendly employees.
