Lantern Cottage is a delightful, welcoming, end-of-terrace period cottage, which is beautifully presented and dog friendly for one medium-sized dog. It has been refurbished in 2021 and is located within a 7-minute level walk of Lyndhurst village and the beautiful open forest. Ideal for a family or couples for a romantic or active break together. On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy living room with a TV and a wood burner to snuggle up in front of, a dining room and a galley kitchen, along with a bathroom; whilst upstairs are the two bedrooms. There are a number thoughtful personal touches on display in the property including a wine bottle honesty rack, help yourself to a bottle on the house but please replace any more before you leave. There are two enclosed gardens with furniture to sit in and enjoy the sun after a day’s activities.
Lyndhurst is a wonderful village with a superb array of amenities. Often referred to as the ‘Capital of the New Forest’ it offers a variety of outdoor pursuits and places of interest with the open forest easily accessible for walking and riding.
